    Road cycling

Culp's Hill has two rounded summits, close to Gettysburg centre. The higher is 630 ft (190 m) above sea level, the road to the top makes a great road climb.

The hill played an important strategic point in the battle of Gettysburg (1863). It was a critical part of the Union army defensive line.

    Cycling

Great view from the top of Culp's Hill on to Gettysburg. The climb to get up to the summit is not too strenuous, so it is definitely worth the effort to get the view from the top.
