Cycling
1959 - 1962 he and the population built the modern parish church of Traunstein. From 1967 he created sculptures in stone and wood, as well as woodcuts.
The focus of his work was the search for the reduced form with great universal expression.
His works can be viewed in the Josef Elter exhibition center (built in 1992), which he planned and built.
