Location: Jefferson County, Colorado, United States
At the top of Genesee Mountain there is a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains with the sharp contrast as the mountains flatten and Denver begins. There is a very short gravel path that takes you to a flagpole that has the best view. In the area, it is very common to see elk, and sometimes even a 50+ elk herd.
