Stanley Lake, Westminster Hills, Marshall Mesa, Rocky Flats
This is a really fun gravel route, it links up a bunch of Open Space parks with very little time spent on pavement and only on secondary roads.

One of my favorite trail combos in Moab, all good fun, nothing really technical, perfect trail conditions after all the rain, great to have a shuttle driver with a broken collar bone!

The Divide Trail/Tenderfoot Trail

Highway to Hell
Our mission was to ride the new Highway to Hell flow trail on Howelsen Hill. The upper section just opened Friday, was so much fun we did two laps on the upper section.

Tegernsee
Another Biergarten pilgrimage site, Tegernsee is right up against the foothills of the Alps and has a really sweet Brewery and Biergarten on the lake. Rode to the lake and then to the closest S Bahn and took the train back to Starnberg.

TNR, Day 8, Rifugio Gardetta to Cuneo
Crossed the Gardetta Plateau for the first part of the day, really scenic ride with some hike-a-bike, then dropped into the valley to the town of Cuneo. The Gardetta Plateau was by far the coolest high alpine terrain we crossed, fun day of riding, just a little rain.

TNR, Day 7, Ponte Mamora to Rifugio Gardetta
Think this is the steepest climbing I've ever done, sustained 18% grades with narrow roads and amazing views. On the upper part of the climb the car traffic was directional, so not many vehicles. Stayed at a Rifugio with great food and beer.

This is one of many variations of riding Clear, Little Dry and Ralston Creeks. This version sticks to paved surfaces, must have been a fall day after some rain or snow so gravel wasn't an option. Usually venture farther North into Rocky Flats, Westminster Hills and Stanley Lake where there's more dirt
