Start your bike tour at the Graurheindorf ferry landing. The ferry takes you across to the other bank of the Rhine, the picturesque Mondorf harbor. Not far and you cross the idyllic Siegaue and reach the fishing museum on an old arm of the Sieg estuary. An impressive permanent exhibition awaits you here, which sheds light on the history of the fishing brotherhood and the cultural history of fishing on the lower Sieg. Directly in front of the fishing museum you will find the restored eel barge "Maria Theresia" from 1894, which once served as a cargo ship and now functions as a unique museum space.
