A 17th-century palace with the distinction of being surrounded on three sides by water, unlike any other in Venice: here, the Rio di S. Marina flows against the building and forks into the Rio de S. Giovanni Laterano on the left and the Rio Tetta on the right.

It is a curious house, long and narrow, with brick walls, framed between sky and water: one of the most photographed buildings and views in Venice, especially from the Conzafelzi Bridge opposite.

Hiking

I wanted to see this beautiful city again. This time without the hustle and bustle and without the many other tourists. I think I managed that quite well.
