The Grote Markt is a paved square with stones and cobblestones. In the middle of the square is the glass artwork depicting the Archangel Michael, the patron saint of Zwolle. Due to the weekly markets, the Grote Markt is not available for events on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
