There are currently some problems with the construction supervision and the area around the tower is officially closed. Some of the barriers have been removed/pushed to the side and depending on which direction you are coming from, you only see the signs afterwards. All in all, the tower is nice, but badly in need of renovation - but there are no signs of activity yet.

The Neufville Tower belongs to the Bergpark of Villa Anna, which was built on behalf of the Frankfurt merchant of Neufville from about 1890. The building itself was built in 1894. Until about 2015 it was operated as a forest cafe, due to the many shortcomings you can currently only visit it from the outside. However, from here you have a nice view of the Eppsteiner valley down.
