The Church of St. Ann Shandon, located north of the River Lee, not only amazes with its 3 m long flag in the shape of a salmon, but above all with the winding bell tower, which is sometimes very narrow to walk on. An extraordinary highlight awaits you here: the 8 church bells can be rung by hand! It is even possible to play simple melodies following instructions. How do the local residents endure it? 😉 One floor up you suddenly find yourself in the middle of the bells (caution: loud! Ear protection is provided at the entrance)
