The sacred well of sa Testa was brought to light in the 1930s during the search for a water source. The well was a sacred place chosen by the Nuragic civilization that inhabited the Gallura region to honor the water deities. This ancient sanctuary, dating back to the 15th-13th century BC, has an external plan that recalls the shape of a lock, symbolizing a door between the world of the living and that of the dead.
