The museum is located on Place des Français, 5537 Anhée. From May 12 to 14, 1940, the village of Haut-le Wastia and its surroundings was the center of a battle in which the French and Belgian soldiers showed their excellent courage. The village was captured twice (50 Germans were taken prisoner) with the loss of many men. The last resistance was broken on May 14 by enemy tanks.
The memorial and museum immortalize the memory, 8 rooms with themes, historical objects, puppets, diaramas, meditation room, the air war, the tank battle in Flavion, the forts of Namur and much more.
