The view over the Ahr valley from the Ahrsteig is really breathtaking. We really enjoyed it and can only make recommendations

From here you not only see the Ahr valley, but with good visibility you can even see Bonn, Cologne and Kerpen? see. Definitely go there, as long as the trees in front of the lookout point have not grown too high. There is no sign or something similar, but there is a bank.

From here you have a fantastic view of the Ahr valley. Particularly impressive on a sunny autumn day when the surrounding vineyards shine in the most beautiful colors.

A look into the Cologne Bay. to the right, the view of the Siebengebirge. Not in the picture, but looking straight ahead, you can see Cologne in the distance, even without aids. To the left of Cologne you can see the two power plants Neurath and Niederaussen.
