Hiking

This natural-looking pond was once constructed for hunting waterfowl. In 1985, the Flemish Government established a fish farm and the pond was used to combat the decline of various fish species in other waters. The pond has not been fished since 2003, allowing this place to develop into a fully-fledged ecosystem where plants and animals feel at home.
