In the years 1840-1845 Seweryn Jański, cashier of the Land Credit Society, having acquired the Kaleń estate from the Chełkowskis, built a palace in the park by the manor. Previously, there had been a classicist manor house there. The owners changed since 1889. The estate and palace belonged to the Makomaski family, Wojciech Mieszkowski, Adam Konarski, in the years 1918-1927 to Princess Jadwiga Lubomirska, and before World War II - to Stanisław Okęcki.
