Penzenreuther chapel, with Maria auxiliary picture after Amberger Art. When 1795 (in the archway chiselled) the village was cremated by a large fire, the Kraus'sche property stopped. Out of gratitude, the family has built this chapel.

In 1795, the small village of Penzenreuth suffered extensive damage from a fire. The owner of a farm that was spared from the blaze erected this chapel, surrounded by linden trees, in gratitude.
