The Sant Roc fountains were the source of the water that reached the old town of Olot. The canalization was built in the 16th century and is located at the point where the Fluvià river meets the Sant Roc neighborhood. The main fountain is located at the end of a walk that begins at the Sant Roc bridge and continues until it ends at some stairs that lead to the old chapel. This walk is distributed in three terraces of about 150 meters. The first terrace is the old Carrilet road.

When leaving Olot over the Ruta del Carrilet you will find this beautiful passage. So much character with all those tunnels, walls and stairs. Definitely a must visit.
