About Edwin
Hi! I’ve been exploring trails and dirt roads on two wheels for decades—starting with racing mountain bikes and wrenching in the US back in the late 80s. Since then, I’ve helped launch MTB programs with Outward Bound, supported 24 Hours of Moab teams as a head mechanic, worked as a bike messenger in Barcelona, and toured around the US and Spain.
Now I’m based in Olot, in the heart of La Garrotxa—surrounded by forests, volcanoes, and endless gravel and MTB routes. I’m especially into bikepacking, gravel adventures, and off-road riding, and I’m always looking to connect with others who share that passion.
I’ve worked as a route planner for Komoot and currently work at a local bike shop here.
