This large building with main entrance on the street called Marka Milijanova houses the main museum and gallery of Podgorica.

It has generous opening hours - 09:00 - 20:00 every day except Mondays (closed).
Free to enter, it is an excellent small museum with an eclectic but well-presented collection. The informative booklet (€5, in Serbo-Croatian with a translation in English) is a recommended purchase.

When we visited, the gallery, which occupies half of the first floor was showing an exhibition of works by Slavic artists under the thematic tile of Male Lekcie O Ljepoti - translated as Little Lessons on Beauty. There are no well-known artists nor works, but many interesting pieces, and again very well-presented.

In total, the museum and gallery will probably not take more than 1 hour or so to visit but it is an excellent hour which will give you a better appreciation of the city of Podgorica and nourish your soul.
