The empty, dilapidated school building was demolished and a new village square was created. Seat walls, benches and plants were used to create a meeting place for young and old that invites you to linger. Now there is a clear view of the previously hidden parish church of Saint Bartholomew. On the day of her patronage, the small village square was given as a gift to the citizens with the blessing.
And there are school children again on the Thüngfeld village square. However, the three are made of wood: a work created by the Keyfeld artist Res Hofmann. The work of art is part of the newly designed square.
