Tips
The 7-meter-high stone observation tower offers a unique panoramic view of the Bavarian Forest. The view extends from the Grosser Arber to the Dreisessel in the east, from Deggendorf to Straubing in the south, and as far west as the Gallner. On some days, weather permitting, the Alps from the Dachstein to the Zugspitze can even be seen. Signs on the tower railing explain which mountains and towns are visible.
