Schoodic Beach is a nice day hike and has overnight camping spaces too. There are individual spots and two group campsites that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If campers wish to have a campfire, they must get permits ahead of time. The beach can get busy with daytime explorers, but it's large and can accommodate a lot of visitors. The beach is surrounded by woods and gives hikers access to lots of different hiking paths.
