This is a lovely place to ride and plenty to see on the way down. You can ride to Dewsbury or Mirfield and it is all tarmac and an easy ride. It is uphill all the way back mind you.
There is a café actually on the Greenway called the coffee counter. There are tables outside small but very welcoming. There is also a toilet.

Road cycling

The Greenway was an old train track and many of the tracks have been made into interesting things to see. There are some amazing steel sheep, lots of different types of seats. Very larger metal circles you can ride through. Lots of fun for young and old. The Greenway can get rather busy so care should be taken.
