We thought we would get a view of the whole structure. However trees grow and this did not happen. The walk is very good though and takes you down to the River Dee

The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Llangollen Canal across the River Dee in the Vale of Llangollen in northeast Wales. The 19-arched stone and cast iron structure is for use by narrowboats and was completed in 1805 having taken ten years to design and build.

Such a delightful walk from Llangollen to Horseshow Falls. Plus the start of the Llangollen canal WOW. A Nice sunny Day for this return trip, not fully recorded as my phone battery ran out

Lunch at the Ugly house then we took a riverside walk to Swallow Falls.
It cost £3 from the entrance on the roadside. If you want to get a little closer .This way you climb several steps to the viewing platform
Up near Ogden Water.
The road to Ogden Water is acces only at the moment

Enjoyed the weather today it was blues skies and very warm.
Komoot stopped recording yet again. I had stopped to take a photo or two and it just stopped.
This route is the one we actually did and i have added the photos afterwards. So the photos are not situated where they were actually taken

This was a lovely walk but for some reason I couldn't take any photos. My friend took the photos and o have just up loaded them They are all newly set out around the dam. Such talented people out there.
However the Duck were real hehe

We had a great journey home and loved our time in Wales
