So i decided that i would like to try a detour down into Sprotbrough from the Conibrough Viaduct. Riding over the Viaduct and taking the trail through the wood back down to the Boat Inn.
This trail is very much not for the faint hearted and a mountain bike i feel is a must. Branches, rocks trees, lots

A very nice meander through Hirst wood and down to the river Aire. We walked under part of the Aquaduct arches which was fun. Our canals are simply amazing and this is no exception a local architectural wonder known locally as the “Seven Arches", an aqueduct bearing the load of Leeds Liverpool Canal above the River Aire

A little meander around Altofts Wakefield
Not sure if the GPS or komoot stopped working but the walk was two miles. Annoying when it does this Another lovely day as the sun burnt the mist away. W saw a lovely Buzzard gracefully floating in the sky Wow. Too far for a photo though
