Many Old Immenstaaders can still remember Vincenz, the “strong Vincenz”, the “power for two hot”. He was one of the sailors who, at the turn of the century, transported loads and goods up and down the lake on sailing ships, the “Lädinen”. Together with his “Chrischtine” he lived “back upstairs” in the Sworn House.
