Sonnenzeit Trail

The start of the Sonnenzeit trail is at the largest walk-in sundial in the Alps, which can be seen from the Elfer mountain station. Along the really beautiful panoramic path with a pleasant gradient, you will pass various stations that are dedicated to time from the second to the year. There are also benches along the route that invite you to take a break and from which you can enjoy the view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The Sonnenzeit trail ends at the Stubaier Höhenweg. From here you can either return via the high path back to the mountain station or hike further around the Elfer via the panoramic path.

With the Elferbahn cable cars, a summer day in the mountains becomes a highlight. We enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Stubai Alps from blooming alpine meadows. Numerous hiking trails and rustic alpine huts await us.
