The Schänzle Bridge, also known as the New Rhine Bridge or, less frequently, the Europa Bridge, spans the Seerhein in Konstanz. The bridge is part of the B 33n on the federal highway 33 (here the Europastrasse) and connects Konstanz directly with the Swiss motorway, A7, and Kreuzlingen. It also connects the Konstanz industrial area on the right bank of the Rhine with the Paradies (Konstanz) district on the left bank of the Rhine. It has two lanes for each carriageway, a hard shoulder and a cycle and pedestrian path.
