Church of St. Demetrius of Sołuni. There are no sources that would allow us to establish the exact date of the foundation of the parish and the first Orthodox church in Żerczyce. Although local tradition even speaks of its foundation in 1001, the first mention of the church in documents dates back to 1583. In the 17th century, the church in Żerczyce accepted the union. In 1662, a new church was built in the town, as the older religious building was destroyed during warfare. Another Uniate church was built in Żerczyce between 1726 and 1789.
