Hite Ranger Station has a grocery store that’s temporarily closed, but you’ll still find a potable water tap, toilets, and electricity available. You can rest under the covered area, charge your devices, and refill at the tap beside the RV dump station, which even works well as an outdoor shower. This is a key stop on the Hayduke Trail for water and a quick recharge. Beyond Hite, there’s no reliable water for about 60 km, and the reservoir is mostly dry, so fill up here before moving on.
