The small, former mining community on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park has less than 1,000 inhabitants. It is accordingly cozy here, especially in summer. Since the municipality is a popular holiday destination for cross-country skiers, winter hikers and ski tourers, you can expect a good infrastructure with hotels, refreshment stops and shopping opportunities. And if the pit stop should only last a very short time: There is a public toilet next to the municipal office.
