The tavern is located directly on the water at the end of the long causeway that connects the mainland of Messolonghi with the island of Tourlida.
The restaurant is known for freshly caught fish and local specialties from the waters of the lagoon, especially seafood such as shrimp, squid, and the famous Messolonghi-Avgotaracho (Greek caviar).
