The Salt Museum is also open in January, even at 10 a.m. in the morning. Even if you're not interested in visiting, the shop might be worth it: Fleur de Sel, small souvenirs with Flamigo motifs and German Lavera organic cosmetic products - for whatever reason :-)

The Salt Museum of Messolonghi (Greek: Μουσείο Άλατος) is the first and only thematic museum in Greece entirely dedicated to salt. It is located in a picturesque coastal setting right next to the active salt pans of Tourlida.
The museum is housed in a renovated workers' dormitory dating back to 1946. Visitors can learn everything about the extraction, history, economic importance, and countless uses of the "white treasure". Highlights include an impressive collection of over 1,500 salt shakers from around the world.
Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
