This two-story mansion was part of the estate of Doña María de Sotomayor, daughter of the master of Alcántara, Don Gutierre de Sotomayor and wife of Luis de Chaves "El Viejo". The façade presents a beautiful porticoed gallery with five arches, built in the first decade of the 16th century, highlighting the pointed arches on rectangular pillars and decorative motifs still reminiscent of medieval times.
