It's good to, on occasion, disappear in the woods! This is a good way to do that: it's a pleasant track through Thurtle Wood (a wide, very easy forest track). Some logging here and there, but not too much.

Eventually, walking north, you will emerge onto more of an open space (Hall Moor) with the wood to your left (west). If you want to be "away from it all", here, you got it.
