Byland Abbey loop via John Bunting chapel
Circular route from Byland Abbey free car park. Mostly accessible paths and forest tracks, with quiet roads and country lanes towards the end. Couple of steep climbs and great views throughout. The spur mid-route is a short but steep 10-15 minute climb to John Bunting's chapel. Worth the extra effort!…

Pocklington Canal Head loop via Bielby
Recorded this route on Komoot. Section from the bridge to Melbourne was on the road and not on a track as planned. There is an alternative route avoiding roads which I will add, but it wasn't too bad, anyway. The roads are quiet and not dangerous.
