Two stones, dating from 1785, display the double coat of arms of the Electorate of Mainz and Hesse-Kassel on the front and the Frankfurt eagle on the back. One boundary stone bears the Frankfurt eagle on two sides and the Teutonic Order cross on the third, with "CC" below it for "Commende Cloppenheim (Deutscher Orden)" (Commande Cloppenheim (Teutonic Order)).

I read in another source that the first "C" does not stand for "Commende" but for "Castnerei" (casting works). historische-grenzsteine-badvilbel.de/inschriften-bibliothek#CC
