The Seebodenhütte (1,810 m) is picturesquely situated on the high plateau of the Hohe Veitsch and is a beautiful resting spot on the way to the summit. Around the hut, the landscape opens up, offering wide views over the surrounding mountain world of the Hochsteiermark. After a longer ascent, the hut is an ideal place for a break before continuing across the plateau. The quiet, open landscape, which already has a distinctly alpine character, is particularly beautiful here.

The Seebodenhütte is located in the middle of the Veitsch plateau and is a shepherd's hut. Opening hours in summer only on weekends, however, drinks should also be available on other days.
