Hiking

Koniks 🐴 live as “landscape managers” on a wasteland south of the Lippe. This robust Eastern European horse breed can spend all year round in the 6 hectare area and feels extremely comfortable here. In addition to grass and tall shrubs, the animals also eat young trees. This means that the diverse mosaic of bushes, individual trees and open areas for birds, amphibians and many other animal species is preserved.

Hiking

Please don't travel just for the Koniks, you only see them very, very rarely here - it's a matter of luck!
