The Trollfjord is a branch of the Raftsund. It only has an entrance that is about 100 m wide, is almost 2 km long and is said to be one of the most impressive fjords in Norway. The side rocks are almost 1000 m high. The fjord can be easily reached by boat or on foot via a longer hike.

During our visit we could not see much of the might of the surrounding mountains, as the fog blanket reached almost to the water
