If visibility is good, you can enjoy this beautiful view of the Brocken from the terrace in front of Wernigerode Castle. The various buildings on the summit of the 1141 meter high mountain are clearly visible despite the distance of around 13 kilometers. Below the Brocken summit you can see the area around the Zeterklippen, the houses on the bottom right of the picture belong to the Wernigerode district of Hasserode.
