The church path actually consists of 2 parts. West and East. From the hypolitus church in Olterterp you walk via the church path East along the church into Beetsterzwaag. The church path then runs behind the Beetsterweg (west) to àld Beets. There used to be a church there (Heilige Geertruida) which was unfortunately demolished in 1984. The cemetery is still there. The church path to this church is unfortunately interrupted by the A7.
