The fish ponds at the northeastern exit of Stolper are in a very scenic area. The hiking trail leads directly along them, through a beech ground and then to the somewhat difficult to see Slavic rampart of Alt-Galow.

With a little luck you can watch gray herons or even ospreys and white-tailed eagles hunting. Grass snakes live here as well as the frogs that greet you in the evening with a loud concert.
