Hiking
With the opening of the Jeker, the old watercourse is given the appreciation it deserves. The ‘new’ Jeker flows along the Kastanjewal, where it was banished in the 1950s: from the city gardens and the Moerenpoort to the Velinx. In this way, it becomes the link between the city centre, the park and the surrounding neighbourhoods. It connects the Kevie with the Velinx, nature with culture.
