The GR221 splits here. Going forward/left is Banyalbufar. Going right is a more direct route to Estellencs. I went right and saved the extra time, descent and ascent. I'd recommend the direct route in the shoulder seasons when there is less daylight.

Much more beautiful than the view of the mountains is the view over the olive trees to the coast and the beautiful cliffs that drop steeply into the sea...
