WSC Jümme Boat Dock

The water sports club Jümme e.V. Detern was founded on May 11, 1968. The club is located on the outskirts of Detern in the Stickhausen an der Jümme district, immediately before the confluence with the Nordgeorgsfehn Canal.The WSC jetty, which consists of the east jetty and the west jetty, has a total length of approx. 350 meters and, depending on the size of the boat, can be occupied by boats on both sides. Even at low tide, the club facility is always accessible for boats with a draft of up to approx. 1.40 meters. There are display cases with important information for boaters on each jetty. The entrances on land are secured by code lock systems.The 5,000 square meter club property is located opposite the “Steg Ost” jetty at Vossweg 1 in Detern. There is a boat hall built in 1982 with a usable area of approx. 600 square meters. It serves as shelter for 12 to 14 boats every year in winter.
