Road cycling

One of the best fortified castles in Spain. The Castillo de los Sarmiento has an extensive wall and keep. The castle, as seen today, was built in the 15th century, like many others, replacing an older castle dating back to the 10th century.

Mountain biking

The original castle was built in the 10th century, but was replaced in the 15th century by the castle you see now. Admission costs €3 and it is open most of the year except Mondays and the months of January and February.
