Just outside the Bornheim village of Walberberg, not far from the "Schneeberg" and the old "Kitzburger Mühle", the path goes much further back in history: a still recognizable Celtic ring wall called "Aldeburg" testifies to a very early settlement in this fertile area. But one should not be fooled by the established term "castle", this Celtic ring wall has nothing to do with a castle complex as our imagination associates with the name.
