The Guardian Angel Trail begins at the valley station on Tegelberg and ends at the mountain station Tegelberg. Its length is approx. 5 km and winds steeply uphill for approx. 903 m. From the valley station it goes through the nature reserve on the Ammer Mountains. With its various display boards, it spans an informative arc from hunters to the present day. This path offers a breathtaking view of Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau.

Hiking

This is the entry into a great way, but it also has a lot in it. You can partly dodge on the slightly flatter ski trail, which extends the route a bit. But at the end of a steep climb where you have to climb some stairs. Condition, strength and sure-footedness should be present. Good footwear with a grippy sole should be a matter of course in the mountains. But it is NOT a via ferrata to the mountain station!
