The Lübsche Trade served in the 14th century not only the Lübeck merchants to get goods from the West Coast and the local markets in Heide, Meldorf and Husum, they also serve as a military road against the Dithmarscher. In Itzehoe it crosses the Ochsenweg, which leads to the Ochsenmarkt in Wedel.
