From the port town of Cres on the island of the same name, only a single asphalt road leads to the northern part of the island. It follows the ridge that runs from north to south. At its narrowest point, the island is only a few hundred meters wide, and there the road switches from one side of the ridge to the other. There are always beautiful viewpoints that also allow you to spot and observe the wild griffon vultures with a bit of luck.
