“A piscaria” – in Sicilian dialect – is the ancient fish market of Catania. Located in the heart of the Etna city, it is located behind the Amenano fountain, also known as "Acqua o linzolu". The fish market in Catania, however, is not a simple market, it is a real experiential journey. Behind it are the arches of the Marina: there, where Villa Pacini now stands, there was once nothing but the sea.
